This place is rated 8,6 on booking.com and that is a great mystery to us!! We fell in the trap to book this "guest house" which in reality is dormitory! Pictures and recommendations on booking.com do not correspond with the real ting. There are 4 rental rooms with smal bathrooms and all rooms are sharing a kitchen and a balcony. We do not recommend anyone to stay here! We stayed here for 2 nights (3 persons). The fridge was broken, hardly water in the shower and only cold water! The aircondition did not deliver cold air. No style in the room - only a mix of old fashion furniture. The two stars are for friendly service and good location.

My husband and I booked one night here at the end of a cruise to be near the airport for our flight next day. Not terribly impressed with the property, but it’s in a good location and is clean. The common areas of the guest house were blazing hot. Toiletries were lacking so we had to unpack our own. The sink and shower back up after a few seconds of use. The shower has virtually no water pressure and I could barely get my hair rinsed. The linens are rough and scratchy and the mattress is one of those uncomfortable foam varieties. Pillows are flat and hard. The real problem for us started when the host, Noemi’s (sp?) mother knocked on our door, barged her way in and started screaming at us in Italian. She kept waving a receipt in front of our faces and saying “fallata”. I looked up the meaning and found it meant “failed”She was insisting our credit card payment did not go through and she wanted cash now! While she was screaming and calling someone else to scream at them, my husband and I reviewed our booking and confirmed we had paid Hotels.com six months earlier and it shows up as a charge on the credit card we used. As it turns out, this host was ignorant of how to get paid from Hotels.com and decided to blame their guest. We ended up having to ask Hotels.com to educate them and they were great! They got an Italian translator and confirmed with me they walked the host’s mother through the process. Did the host thank us and apologize? Absolutely not! Made some lame statement about her mother not speaking English as if that was the only problem. Then accused us of not leaving the 7 Euro local tax payment that was due. We left it in the room as instructed. When the hosts mother had barged into our room to scream at us she did it in front of other guests embarrassing us greatly. We ended up having to order her out of our room and locked the door after we got her out. We also noticed after we returned to our room from lunch that someone might have entered the locked room. The mini split air unit had been set to 19 and was set to 24 on our return. This was a very unpleasant experience that caused us a lot of work to help these ungrateful sub standard hosts get paid. Go somewhere else!

This was the best customer service and overall place I have stayed within Italy! The family was very kind, the room was very clean, had cold ac, and was just a 5 minute walk to the beach! Overall had a great experience here. If I ever stop by this area, I will definitely be booking it with you guys again!

If you're like me, and you enjoy peaceful mornings when you can just have a coffee watching the sea, this place is for you. It's been arranged with style, was always perfectly clean and the communication with the property was great.

The maison was really nice, clean and we felt like at home. The owner always made us feel welcome and comfortable. The location is really central, with all the necessary near by and really near the station where you can take the train to Rome. We totally recommend it.
